The Lumberton Independent School District offers training workshops for substitute teachers & teacher aides. It is mandatory that all substitutes attend a workshop. The date currently scheduled for our workshop is:

Wednesday, March 27, 2013
The workshops will be from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm in the Professional Development Training Building. 

Some workshop dates may have to be altered due to unforeseen conflicts. Please call the Administration Building prior to the workshop you wish to attend to confirm the date and sign up. Applicants must also complete a Substitute Packet which can be picked up from the Receptionist in the Administration Office.
Training sessions in other school districts may be substituted for Lumberton training credit. The Assistant Superintendent must approve documents verifying a prior training course for credit.
A substitute teacher/aide cannot be added to our current substitute list until all documents and requirements are met. Should you have any questions please feel free to contact the personnel office for assistance.
