We want you to be aware of some information that is out in the community –
Lumberton ISD is aware of rumors circulating that a patient at Baptist Hospital entered through the Emergency Services Department with the Coronavirus while our LHS Health Science Technology students were completing clinical rotations. None of our students were in the Emergency Department today. All of the students were on different floors in the hospital.
We have been in communication with Baptist Hospital and they report that there are no confirmed cases of the Coronavirus at their facility. We will continue to maintain communication with Baptist Hospital, the Hardin and Jefferson County Health Departments and other medical professionals.
