Coordination between the school district, the Hardin County Health Department, the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and the Centers for Disease Control will drive our decision making and processes to respond to any pandemics. Attached are both the English and Spanish statements from LISD to our families concerning this virus. The school district is in continuous communication with the Texas Education Agency and local officials to determine our next steps of action.
